Annual Meeting and Report
As a not-for-profit cooperative, Corn Belt Energy holds an annual meeting for members-owners in June. At the meeting, members elect directors, vote on proposed bylaw amendments, and have the opportunity to meet with current directors and employees. Those in attendance also enjoy a complimentary meal, free activities for all ages, and the chance to win valuable prizes. If you receive electricity from Corn Belt, you're a member-owner of the cooperative and invited to attend.
Our 74th Annual Meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, June 22, 2012, at Central Catholic High School in east Bloomington. By early June, each member household/business will receive an official notice booklet in the mail that also serves as our annual report. Details and RSVP information about our annual meeting can be found in this booklet. Attend the business meeting at 3:00 for a chance to win a new Apple iPad!
2011 Annual Meeting
Over 1,000 cooperative members and family members attended our 73rd Annual Meeting on the afternoon of Friday, June 24 at Central Catholic High School in Bloomington. Attendees enjoyed a complimentary lunch, free activities for kids, and visited with local businesses who participate in our Co-op Connections Card discount program. The River Ramblers bluegrass band entertained the audience in the auditorium before the business meeting. During the business meeting, members re-elected five directors and approved a slate of bylaw amendments.

2010 Annual Meeting
Over 700 adults and children joined us at Central Catholic High School in Bloomington for our 72nd Annual Meeting of members. They enjoyed a complimentary lunch, free activities for children, and the opportunity to win valuable prizes.
During the business meeting, Corn Belt's Board Chairman announced that $4.1 million would be disbursed to members as retired capital credits later that summer. Over 38,800 members who received service from Corn Belt in 2009 received a portion of their capital credit allocation in the form of a check in July of 2010. Additionally, Corn Belt Energy retired capital credits to those who were members from 1963 - 1971 in our Central Region and to those who were members from 1955 - 1961 in our North Region.
